LA indie couple Bruce Driscoll and Parisian-born Marie Seyrat are Freedom Fry. The pair could be the most creative and fun power couple in all of pop music. Hard to argue when they churn out consistently churn out memorable and sweet pop hooks with a regularity that makes them the envy of many. Their songs have appeared in TV shows, film and advertising and they keep things fresh with videos and singles throughout the pandemic. Recently having launched the one-mic cover video series, the pair uncorked this mesmerizing, tight cover of Harry Nilsson's "Everybody's Talkin'" this week with Marie singing the now familiar lyrics in French. (Hello, is that Wes Anderson on line 2?) Life gives you lemons? The Universe give you lemons in French.. or something like that. The new album, “L’ Invitation” is out now!
