The Universe by Gregory Alan Isakov

Every time I listen to Gregory Alan Isakov I am left in complete wonder. I needed something special this morning. I awoke to face the week and found this stellar live performance in a Colorado church sponsored by our friends at the Fuel/Friends blog. (I miss you!) Isakov is gifted and his vocals here are breathtaking. This is more than just an escape - this music is a recipe to a better week. Photography/Video by Kevin Ihle. Audio here by Ian and Conor Bourgal of Blank-Tape Records. Happy Monday folks. Get to know GIA. Evening Machines is his latest album.

From the Artist Website: Many musicians have day jobs to make ends meet. However, few artists maintain the lifestyle kept by Gregory Alan Isakov. The Colorado-based indie-folk artist is a full-time farmer who sells vegetable seeds and grows various market crops on his three-acre farm, while also tending to a thriving musical career.
