The Toughest Ticket - the massive LA tribute concert for Chris Cornell goes on sale this Friday

This Friday's on-sale for the Chris Cornell "I Am The Highway" tribute concert to be held this January in Los Angeles promises to be the single most sought after concert ticket of 2018/2019. The show features members of Soundgarden, Audio Slave and Temple of the Dog; who will be joined Foo Fighters, Metallica, and Ryan Adams. Just wow.

The evening will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and also feature performances from the Foo Fighters and Ryan Adams, along with other special guests.

In keeping with Chris and his family's vision for a better world, the evening will benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation as well as The Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising funds and awareness for this painful and debilitating genetic disorder.

Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster this Friday, November 16th at 10 AM PT. Each ticket purchased online for the show will include a copy of Cornell’s self-titled career retrospective album. Visit ChrisCornell.com for additional details.

This will be my generation's The Last Waltz. And sadly, despite the forum's 17,000+ capacity, no one reading this will likely get a ticket without a second mortgage or some akin vow of servitude for perpetuity. (I mean each of these acts could sell out the Forum on their own!) Best of luck everyone. The Countdown's on.
