Boom Forest to play The Outlaw Roadshow Nashville!

Deep in the late stages of recording a new album, John Paul Roney is poised for a huge year. Playing under the stage name Boom Forest, this is definitely someone you need to know. Now calling Nashville his home, Roney has cultivated a cult-like reverence with indie music lovers across the country and has earned a great deal of positive press from music magazines and blogs. A gifted soul, The Outlaw has worked with him in New York and in Austin and it wouldn't be right not to have him on the big stage in his home town. Boom Forest plays the Mercy Lounge on Saturday, July 18. Welcome home!

Expect sweeping songs about love, childhood and the mystical nature of the undiscovered world. Somewhere along the way, you will surrender to the percussion and want to dance. It's this wonderful amalgam of mental images and songcraft that makes Boom Forest what they are.
