Vancouver's Parlour Steps Disband
Always a mixed bag when we hear that one of our favorite bands is breaking up - obviously not great, but there's a measure of relief if a band makes the announcement at the right time (read - before the artistic fall). Parlour Steps (Nine Mile) were on a short list of favorite bands from Canada. So much so, we honored them by putting them on our super-exclusive Best of 2008 List and even hosted the band here in Boston when they were passing through. We'll miss you guys.
