The Tweedy-family in-house B: Side recording "Own It" and the low budget Raccoonists music video above are pretty good but it very well may be a novelty on this new split EP. The real star here is the Tweedy-fronted Deerhoof jam called, "Behold Jeff Tweedy in the Darkness." According to Polyvinyl records, Tweedy and Wilco guitarist Nels Cline have long admired Deerhoof and the combo made sense to everyone involved.
For just $5 you can secure the ltd ed. vinyl and get an immediate download of both songs. (This is the smart thing to do as we both know that's the only way you are going to get the vinyl - which will inevitably be sold out before it ever hits a store counter, anywhere.) Just a tip from an old friend, who shares your tastes!
