Endless Wave

ONE TO WATCH in 2011
Someone You Should Know

Fresh off the release of their summer full-length, "Notes From the Compound," the indie rock trio ENDLESS WAVE are showing they are worth the attention they have earned this year. We ran into the guys early on this year in Austin at SxSW where they were, then, celebrating the release of their "City Walls" EP with festival audiences. Both albums; "Notes From the Compound" and "City Walls" are New England products (the records were produced by Paul Q. Kolderie and Adam Taylor at Camp Street Studios in Cambridge, MA)- giving this Boston act a real signature sound. *

THE SOUND - Dark and foreboding, rhythmic, rocking and full of electricity, this new one from Endless Wave is the perfect sound on a hot summer night full of promise. In anticipation of writing this piece, I have been listening to the songs for days and I will be adding several of the tracks off the new record to my permanent rotation. It's not everyday that you find a new diamond in your own backyard. A tip of the hat to the band: André Obin, Timothy Ryan and Tucker Dawson. DEFINITELY ONE TO WATCH.

[* Editor's note: the winter closure of Camp Street / formerly Fort Apache Studios - gives this new album project some additional significance as it was amongst the last work to be completed.]
