Creativity's Fertile Ground - Orchestral indie rock band Hey Rosetta! hail from St. John’s, Newfoundland, and are one of the best contemporary bands in all of Canada. Having seen their sweeping sets unfold is like listening to an elder stand over the fire and tell a story nearly lost to time. But then again, the band is just as likely to launch into a rock number with a jam session so intense that it will shake you to the core. Their new album, Seeds, is out on Tuesday the 15th. This one's the product of several very good things. The band, having toured the world extensively the last two years, are extremely tight. The album is the result of devoted sessions. Further, Seeds was recorded by Halifax sound magician Tony Doogan (Belle and Sebastian, Mogwai, Wintersleep). A word to the wise... This is an album you are not going to want to miss.
