MATT COSTA - The man's 3rd album "Mobile Chateau" (Brushfire Records) is a big change for pop-meister Costa but he makes these changes casually and before long on the new record, the singer/songwriter sounds every bit the modern ethereal. (You will hear echoes of Matt's ‘60s psychedelic superheroes; Donovan, 13th Floor Elevators, the Zombies, the Electric Prunes, and the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band.)

MOBILE CHATEAU - For the man who gave us the pop-tastic "Mr. Pitiful (a song I actually love), the new album is a bold step forward. Over the past two years, Costa has played stints with Johnathan Rice, Death Cab for Cutie and Modest Mouse, as well as a high-profile tour with Oasis and Ryan Adams & the Cardinals. Here's someone we should all be watching in 2011.
