New Album in June - Grace Potter and The Nocturnals were in Austin this week on their current tour. The band are on the verge of releasing their eponymous third album (June 8 on Hollywood Records). Now playing as a five-piece band, the Nocturnals' new 13-track album was produced by Mark Batson (Dr. Dre, Eminem, Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band.) While some elements have changed and the band has clearly improved with the passage of time and the experiences of the road have brought the band closer together than ever. What is about to come about is a new adventure for fans. I can't help but feel a bit of kinship with the celebrated native Vermont singer-songwriter - having grown up in those same hills. Glad to see her and the band staking out with new material and better things!

What You're About to See - Grace and the band perform a live cover of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" at the Burlington Waterfront Show in 2009. (Available to fans for the first time just recently.) A recorded version of the song is featured on Almost Alice, a collection of tracks inspired by Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. Do you believe in Magic?
