DIG? - It's been at least two years since we mentioned Gary B & The Notions on these pages and I was delighted to both hear the Baltimore, MD, sons are still playing together and even more so, that they have a fresh record. The new record, "New Twist & Shout" out now. Melody-driven, the songs were written to be performed on the stage. The Notions have taken a page from one of Elvis Costello's books - their beat is, indeed, true.
