Rock Lobster served with a side of The New Collisions

the B-52s tap The New Collisions to play 2009 Dates

It's hard to argue with this kind of success: We have word that The New Collisions have been tapped to play opening East Coast National tour dates with dancehall-pop legends The B-52s...! (The New Collisions have also been named support for the legendary Blondie in New Jersey this month.) We named these indie-New Wave darlings an RSL Band to Watch and we are more than happy to be proven correct once again...

The band: Sarah Guild (vocals), Scott Guild (guitar), Alex Stern (bass and vocals), Casey Gruttadauria (keys), and Zak Kahn (drums) - just released their debut EP and will be 'practicing' before some very large audiences soon. We can only hope that affords them the time and opportunity necessary to write and record a full-length record worthy of their growing fan base. Please join us in supporting their sound and try to be ready for their liftoff!
