Listen to AM

New Music this Week!
Someone You Should Know

ADAPTABLE & GIFTED - Tulsa-born and New Orleans-raised, LA indie fusion artist AM will be arriving in town in a few hours in preparation for his album release party in Boston this Wednesday. AM's a talented soul, mixing elements of folk Americana with modern rock and pop - there are clear elements of funk and soul in his music as well! We like his songwriting and presentation - intelligent lyrics, ironic rock and a conscious effort to keep his arrangements true to roots music make him a real winner in our book!

FUTURE SONS & DAUGHTERS - On Wednesday, Aug 19th, AM will head over to Cambridge's Club Passim with The Rescues to celebrate the national release of AM's new album, "Future Sons & Daughters" - a night that will kick off a late summer tour. Get to this show if you can - you absolutely will not be disappointed. "Future Sons & Daughters" is a great record - one that combines simple, intelligent lyrics with undeniable pop sensibilities and sparse, psychedelic grooves. The record derived a lot from AM's 1960s record collection ranging - which includes obscure Brazilian music to Italian soundtracks.

Premiere of "Good Opinion"
from AM's new album Future Sons & Daughters

We can only imagine how many hearts and souls will be won on tour - but cannot encourage you enough to check out this brand new material. Whether drawing inspiration from the Beatles and Badfinger or Curtis Mayfield and Jorge Ben, AM demonstrate over and again imagination and good taste are key elements!
