We are very much looking forward to this week's GreenFest 2009 festivities in Boston on City Hall Plaza. The music and arts festival runs for three days beginning on Thursday afternoon and stretching until late Saturday evening.
Planners are hopeful that GreenFest will educate and enlighten at the same time it entertains. Along with 40-plus remarkable local and national music acts, GreenFest is a open story about organic food and farming, improved nutrition, for better healthcare and to outline steps that can be taken to make ours a sustainable, green economy. So while the music plays (full lineup below) there is hope that the annual festival will motivate 50,000+ festival-goers to green up the Boston area, build healthier communities, and to take action in the things they believe in. We like this approach and wish them success!
