Glasvegas and Ida Maria
SOLD OUT EVENING: The fact that nary a ticket is available for a Glasvegas show is as predictable as bad news on the front page these days ... Well tonight's musical escape at the Paradise in Boston is completely sold out. Glasvegas (who are touring later this year with U2 and Kings of Leon) is certainly the hottest Scottish band in the world right now (Sorry Franz).

Tonight's live event is also sold out in no smart part (at least we'd like to think) due to the impressive sounds of SxSW act Ida Maria. The Norwegian band wraps up their stint with Glasvegas tonight. As for Ida Maria's awesome sound - check out the video below... (Think Sonic Youth meets Bjork... A little fresher but less sassy than Be Your Own Pet and as good but certainly less British than The Duke Spirit...) We like them. Add these acts together and what you have is one hell of a live show tonight in Boston. Hope to see you there!
