The Beauty and The Fury of A'TRIS

introducing a'tris

This one comes highly recommended. The talented a'tris is the marriage of a fresh indie sound with soul, electronic static and bits of dance, rock n roll, add some classic keyboards and a dash of funk. Since relocating to Boston, Mason Taylor (piano, songwriter and vocals) has teamed up with several talented musicians, engineers, sonic manipulators, sound wave amplifiers, and assorted players of various instruments. The band: Ben Azar (guitars), Nate Lueck (bass guitar), and Travis Abel (drums) work to create the types of memorable performances that bring people to their feet and have them coming back for more.

NEW ALBUM: The band released the great Lensing album, just this year. The tracks on the album are diverse and exciting and they really showcases the band's breadth of talent. This band will go places if they stick with it! This record comes recommended by us.

Taylor and the rest of the members of a'tris will be the first to tell you that they would rather you come out for a live performance. (They are good enough to know that once they have you in their grasp - you'll have to come back for more!)

APPEARING TONIGHT: You're in luck if you're in Boston looking for something great to do tonight as a'tris has a live appearance all set for Great Scott in Allston. They are the opener so get to Great Scott before 9pm. Also appearing on the most promising bill tonight: Oppenheimer and RSL favorite The Luxury.
