No Second Troy - Live in Boston!
BOSTON: - No Second Troy will appear live at Great Scott tonight dragging in tow a sound that Spin.com called "bright as the sun." In some ways it's a fair comparison. The band wields definite skills and plays a damn good brand of indie pop with a flourish and a rich, full sound.

After playing east coast gigs including a memorable night at the 9:30 Club in their home city (Washington D.C.) - check their myspace page for images, No Second Troy played a great live set (two songs) on Fox 25's morning show today. (Check out the Fox25 live show - HERE.)
No Second Troy are touring to support the release of their new album: Narcotic - a title, I have to believe, has nothing to do with drugs but with human addiction to things like music.
The band: Jeff Wharen (vox), Tom McCarthy (guitar), Vijay Shanker (drums), John Woolf (bass) and Mike Beach (keys). Beach is a former Boston resident. It's always good to support locals even when they have moved away to pursue their dreams.
