Boston is at the Center of the Universe Today - The Deal has gone down!

Ok - deep dark secret that some of you know. I am equally as passionate about sports as I am about music... I just don't talk about it much. Today is a very special day for Boston sports fans (which I have been my whole life; having been born and raised in New England.)
The Red Sox have come to terms with the greatest living physical specimen who throws a baseball. Better than Johan Santana and Roy Oswalt... Better today than Curt Schilling, Better than Josh Beckett and better than Roger Clemens....

Daisuke Matsuzaka is an athlete capable of altering the rotation of the world - at least as it relates to Boston sports. Boston baseball just got the attention of the rest of the world!

THIS is who will be pitching for Boston the next SIX years....
Video from this past year's World Baseball Classic

Whoa. Hehehe.

Daisuke Matsuzaka - "Dice Kay", Red Sox #18, 26 yrs old

Japanese legend:
First Japanese pitcher to ever throw 100 mph (confirmed).
First player taken in 1998 Japanese baseball draft.
Throws five quality pitches.
Once threw 250 pitches in a single game (17 innings).

Most recent stat:
2006 World Baseball Classic (International) -
Led Japan to the title with a 3-0 record and an unbelievable 0.85 ERA

So that's where the sports talk ends. I won't say anything more so as not to disillusion those of you who really like music and really don't like sports or the Red Sox. I am just a passionate man who likes what he likes. Here's to today and to the future! Boston is the place to be.
